Based on the SIGTTO LNG Suggested Competency Standard (2nd Version), another, successful training course was organized from 17 to 19 May 2021 for prospective and full of promise, Minerva Gas Officers and shore-based personnel.
The central aim of the seminar was to provide in a comprehensive way, the knowledge listed in each one of the proposed Modules of the SIGTTO Competence Standard and stimulate the participating Officers to carefully go through the underpinning knowledge in the relevant sections. It focused on the design and equipment of the DSME and SHI newly built LNGCs of Minerva Gas, covering their cargo containment system, cargo equipment, the standard cycle of operations, an overview of the IGC Code and others.
